Bringing Relationships to Life

Have you ever come to church to hear the church condemning the people outside the church? Sometimes preachers and others condemn those inside the church, as well. That isn't what we have been called for. We have been called to bless people.

No more casual Christianity. No more Christianity-lite. Let's go all the way with our Lord. Let's live like true believers.

Husbands have a huge responsibility. They provide spiritual strength for their families. 

In the ancient world, the wife was supposed to adopt the religion of her husband. If she didn't, she was considered unfaithful. But a new faith came about: Christianity. What was the godly wife to do?

The Christian life is more than having a place to go to for eternity. It is coming home to a Savior while you are still on earth. Jesus, the Great Shepherd, calls us to Himself. It is here we find our purpose and our home with our Lord.

Grace is foreign to some people. They don't know how to give grace to others. Some people only give grace to those who give them grace. They are waiting to see what you do first. But we are to give grace to all. Now wouldn't that change the way we all drove to work?

What would it be that at the end of your life you would say that your life was meaningful? This is the message here today.

The Christian calling is one to slavery to Christ. Slavery is such a bad word. Chattel slavery is evil. But what about the voluntary slave. This is the person who has said it is better to be a slave to Christ than to be on my own.

The Bible tells us that we should submit to every human institution. Does that mean we should be compliant and allow a holocaust to happen? Does that  mean we should sit still under tyranny? No, we say, but why?

Last week we talked about Satan's attack on believers. He can't take away our salvation. He can't take away God's love for us. He can tempt us to lose our joy, lose God's manifest presence in our lives and lose the rewards we have earned in heaven. There is one more thing we can lose. This message reveals what it is.
